UA ATEP Facilities

Outside the athletic training classroom, athletic training students have access to a variety of settings for their clinical education experiences. All clinical experiences are directly supervised by BOC Certified Athletic Trainers and other Clinical Instructors. The majority of the students′ clinical experiences will occur on campus in the athletic training rooms at the Mal Moore Athletics Complex, Coleman Coliseum, Sewell-Thomas Baseball Stadium, Soccer Stadium, Softball Complex and the Tennis Stadium. Thirteen other facilities in Tuscaloosa serve as affiliated clinical sites within the ATEP. These include eight high schools: Brookwood High School, Hillcrest High School, Holt High School, Northridge High School, Northside High School, Paul W. Bryant High School, Tuscaloosa Central High School and Tuscaloosa County High School. Additional off-campus clinical sites include APTOR, DCH Outpatient Center, DCH SportsMedicine, Tuscaloosa Therapy, Tuscaloosa Therapy at the UA Student Recreation Center and UOC Rehab Services.
